Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling: The Tampa Owner’s Guide
Caesarstone kitchen remodeling in Tampa typically runs $14,000 to $45,000 installed, depending on slab count, edge profile, and whether cabinets are being replaced at the same time. We stock Caesarstone-compatible fabrication and installation supplies on our trucks, and most countertop-only swaps are done within two to three working days once the slab is selected. Owners usually find us after a chip near the sink lip, a seam that has opened and started catching crumbs, or a Caesarstone surface that has begun dulling unevenly across the main prep zone.
We are an independent Tampa remodeling contractor. We are not affiliated with Caesarstone, and we don’t pretend to be. What we do is work with Caesarstone surfaces every week, know which slab lots play well with Tampa’s humidity, and write every price down before a single tool comes off the truck.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

This page covers the Caesarstone quartz lines most common in Tampa kitchens: the Classic, Supernatural, and Metropolitan collections, plus the Outdoor line for covered lanai counters. The compatibility detail that trips up most homeowners is thickness. Caesarstone slabs commonly ship in 2 cm and 3 cm thicknesses, and a 2 cm surface with a laminated edge will not take the same overhang span as a 3 cm slab without steel reinforcement. If your existing Caesarstone is 2 cm and you’re planning an island overhang beyond 10 inches, the fabricated edge needs a mitered build-up or a support bracket, not just adhesive.
For OEM versus aftermarket: Caesarstone’s own installation products, like their seam adhesives and color-matched epoxy, are excellent but the color match is tied to the specific slab lot, not just the color name. Two slabs of the same Caesarstone color poured in different years can differ slightly in base tone. That is why we ask for the lot number printed on the back of any remnant or the underside of an overhang before we order filler or repair materials. Quality aftermarket adhesives from Integra and Tenax are what we use on most repairs because they offer a broader color-match range, and the finished seam is what matters, not whose label is on the tube.

Signs Your Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Chipping near the sink lip or cooktop edge. Quartz is hard, but a dropped cast iron pan lands with enough force to take a chip out of the radius edge. The underlying cause is usually edge profile: a sharp 90-degree edge chips more easily than a eased or bullnose profile, which is worth knowing before you choose the profile for the replacement.
- A seam that has opened or is catching crumbs. Tampa’s seasonal humidity shifts cause cabinet boxes to move slightly. If the original installers glued the seam with no room for that movement, the seam will open at the surface. The fix is a careful seam clean-out and re-fill, not just injecting more epoxy on top.
- Dull patches that don’t polish back. Caesarstone’s polished finish wears differently in the high-traffic prep zone near the sink. If the dull area feels rough, the polish has been scratched off by years of abrasive cleaners. A fabricator can re-polish in place, but the result depends on matching the original sheen, which is why we always test on the underside first.
- A hairline crack running from the corner of the cooktop cutout. This is a stress crack, not a material defect. It starts when the cutout corners were left too sharp at fabrication. Newer installations use rounded interior corners, which is one of the things we check when evaluating whether a repair or full replacement makes more sense.
- Water staining or etching around the faucet base. Quartz does not etch like marble, but hard water deposits build up and look like stains. If the surface has gone chalky white around fixtures, it is mineral build-up, and a quartz-specific cleaner with a non-abrasive pad takes care of it without harming the finish.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

A full Caesarstone kitchen remodel in Tampa runs $14,000 to $45,000. The spread is driven mostly by slab square footage, edge profile, how many seams are needed, and whether the cabinet boxes stay or get replaced. A countertop-only swap on a standard L-shaped Tampa kitchen with an island typically lands between $9,000 and $20,000. Adding new cabinets from KraftMaid or Wellborn pushes the upper range.
- Countertop installation: $2,000 – $6,500
- Cabinet installation: $4,000 – $13,000
- Backsplash installation: $800 – $2,500
- Kitchen island installation: $3,000 – $10,000
Every quote we write includes the slab, fabrication, templating, install, seam work, edge profile of your choosing, and cleanup. We write it down before we start so nobody is guessing mid-project. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every completed project: if something isn’t right after we’re done, we make it right. No re-quote, no argument.

What a homeowner can safely do: photograph the damage, check the underside of an overhang for the slab lot number, and wipe the surface with a pH-neutral cleaner to rule out surface build-up before assuming the quartz itself is damaged. What we would not recommend: attempting to re-polish deep scratches with a random orbital sander, injecting seam adhesive into a moving seam, or trying to glue a chip back on with hardware-store epoxy. Quartz fabrication requires diamond tooling, careful color matching, and water-fed grinders that most garages do not have, and a botched repair often costs more to undo than the original fix would have.
If the chip is small and the color is a common lot, we can usually match and fill it same week. If the surface has a stress crack running into the slab, replacement is usually the honest answer. Call (850) 779-4017 and describe what you’re seeing. We’ll tell you over the phone whether it sounds repairable, and we’ll set a time to look at it in person, on paper, before you spend a dollar.
FAQs

Caesarstone quartz surfaces last 20 to 30 years in a Tampa kitchen when the seams are installed correctly and the surface is cleaned with non-abrasive, pH-neutral products. The countertop will outlast the cabinets under it in most Florida homes.
Yes, most chips can be repaired with a color-matched filler that is almost invisible once cured and polished, especially on 3 cm slabs where the repair sits on a thick edge. The exception is a chip that exposes a large area of the slab body, which may require a sectioned patch. Call (850) 779-4017 and we’ll tell you which category yours falls into.
A countertop-only Caesarstone swap in Tampa takes two to three working days from template to install, assuming the slab is in stock locally. Slabs that need to be ordered from the distributor add one to two weeks. We’ll give you the calendar dates in the written quote.
We stock installation materials, adhesives, and edge-profile tooling on our trucks, but slabs are ordered per project from our Tampa distributors so you get a fresh, uncut slab from a current lot. This avoids the color-matching issues that come from pulling an older remnant off a shelf.
