Construction Before & After in Tampa, FL
Photos tell the truth faster than any promise we could print. Before a project starts, we take pictures of what’s there: the cracked tile, the cabinet doors that no longer close, the bathroom that quit making sense years ago. When the crew leaves, we photograph the clean-up too. What follows is a sample of the transformations we’ve completed across Tampa, from South Tampa to Seminole Heights, and the thinking behind each one.
Recent Transformations
Kitchen Remodel in Hyde Park: From Closed-Off 1990s Box to Open Cook’s Kitchen
Before
After
Before
AfterThe problem was a load-bearing wall that cut the kitchen off from the dining room, plus cabinets that had warped after 30 years of Tampa humidity. The homeowners wanted to cook and still see their kids doing homework. So we engineered a beam to open the wall, moved the sink to face the window, and specified KraftMaid cabinets with full-extension drawers. The result is a kitchen where two cooks can work without bumping elbows. Final line-item price was written and signed before demolition started: $48,200.
Master Bathroom Remodel in Carrollwood: Pulling Out a Fiberglass Tub/Shower Combo
Before
After
This Carrollwood master bath had one function: get in, get out. The fiberglass surround had yellowed, and the single vanity meant two people shared a 24-inch sink. We tore out the tub, installed a curbless shower with a linear drain and Schluter Kerdi waterproofing underneath, and ran a double vanity with Moen faucets across the far wall. Drop cloths stayed down from the front door to the bathroom the entire three weeks. The homeowners’ dog never once got drywall dust in his paws. Project range for a bath like this in Tampa typically runs $22,000 to $38,000 depending on tile selection and plumbing moves.
Whole-Home Refresh in Seminole Heights: Updating a 1920s Bungalow Without Erasing It

Seminole Heights bungalows deserve better than carpet over heart-pine. This one had two layers of it, plus a kitchen that had been “updated” with peel-and-stick tile. We pulled the carpet, refinished the original wood, and rebuilt the kitchen with Wellborn cabinets in a flat-panel style. Every fixture, from the Grohe faucet to the cabinet pulls, was chosen to look like it could have been there since 1925. Total project: $64,900, with the written price delivered before the first box was moved.
Kitchen Update in Westchase: New Counters and Backsplash Without Touching the Cabinets

Sometimes the cabinets are fine and the surfaces are not. In this Westchase home, the cabinet boxes were solid oak but the laminate counters had melted in one spot and there was no backsplash at all. We templated and installed Caesarstone counters with an eased edge, added a glass tile backsplash up to the cabinet line, and replaced the sink with a Moen under-mount. Total time: six working days, including the counter fabrication. Written price: $9,700, no change orders.
Bathroom Remodel in New Tampa: Making Room for a Growing Family

Three kids, one bathroom sink, zero chance of mornings staying calm. The New Tampa family needed two sinks and a shower the kids could actually use without flooding the floor. We removed the tub, widened the doorway by taking out the linen closet, and built a shower with a Silestone bench and hand-held sprayer for rinsing small heads. The final layout gave the family 14 more inches of floor space and two basins instead of one. Tampa bathrooms this size run $19,000 to $32,000 depending on finish choices.

What You See in Every Photo
Before we start, we photograph the floors, the walls, the doorways, and the path from the front door to the work area. After the job is done, before the crew leaves, we photograph the clean-up: the vacuumed floors, the wiped counters, the drop cloths folded and gone. That photo comes to you with the final walkthrough. It’s not a bonus feature. It’s proof of how we left your home.
